Extension on eligibility period? -

Hi all. Does anyone know how much it costs to extend your USMLE step 1 eligibility period. My current period is from Aug 02 to Oct 02. I'd like to take my exam on July 2003, but it may cost too much?? If anyone out-there has any idea, your reply would be much appreciated. Thank you!
