How long do you guys spend in general at your second look, what time are you usually finished, and how is the day overall. Thanks!

Second look will be 1 to 3 hours. It is just a formal visit.

second looks usually last the whole day, atleast from 8AM to 3PM. u get to see and go along with the residents and attendings of one team. be prepared mentally to spend atleast 6 hrs on that day. you may not get to see the PD as the second visits are not usually on thier schedule as they are usually scheduled by the PC for the sole purpose of the student. you will get to meet the chief resident, if you get to see the PD you will get a good chance to express ur interest.
