I am new to the Match/Scramble process for foreign grads. My school is new also and doesnt know to much about it. I want to get a spot in the scramble this year for either OB/GYN or Family or IM.

Can someone PLEASE recommend any books that might help me understand the process beyond the scramble or post match.

I am at a total lost right now, I dont know where to even begin to proceed. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me!!

hey step2step, first aid for the match is a very helpfull book. it talks abt the scramble process. signing up for s services like img residency, match a resident, or residency place might also help.
dont panic.
have these documents ready:
usmle transcrip, school transcrip, ecfmg certificate, 3 LORs(preferally us), deans letter.
fax machine,
be in a big city like new york or chicago just in case u are called in for a personal interviews instead of phone interview.
