if someone doesnt match-please advise the best way to absorb the shock........especially when to hope is human.....and what if deep inside you had thought, you WILL match!

surround yourself with the people that you love the most........they will cushion you with comfort and absorb some of your shock.

what shoch you are talking about.?read books ,i prefer autobiographies, you still have chance even if you did not match on Monday ...as much as you have chance as much as you can get everything you want.this is not an optimistic thought.it is just the real life.

longlive, not entirely true.......it does favor people with GC a lot, but those who dont have one can also get in.......
i would say it mostly depends on, 1. luck 2. contacts 3. green card 4. being in the right place at the right time 5. effective use of available resources in that order......and this holds true only for IMGs.......all AMGs will find positions with very rare exceptions....
