Which one of the following is most appropriate for family members of patients with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease?

Monitoring with yearly renal function tests
Screening using renal ultrasonography
Screening for intracranial aneurysms
Reassurance that the absence of cysts by age 18 indicates that they will be unaffected
Reassurance that the likelihood of their having the disease is minimal

I think, The best is monitoring with yearly renal function test, to see of renal failure progression.

Renal USG is just confirmatory of disease (ie, 5 cysts is confirmatory)

I am sure the answer is "Monitoring with yearly renal function tests". "Screening using renal ultrasonography" is right only if "yearly" screening. Remember most of these patients will not have any problem until they are in their 40s.
