Google it...there are plenty of websites out there which talk about the residency application process.

The general principal is to limit the PS to a page. If you have many laudable attributes to your professional career then you can let your PS, understandably, run longer.

What I did was type up my PS on Microsoft Word (using 10pt/12pt font) then I cut and pasted it onto my ERAS. Next I viewed it on ERAS and checked to see if it was indeed one page long.
