coronary blood flow in an animal is norml at rest, but when it becoms active vaso constriction occurs and flow decreases.whats the cause of vc in the smooth muscle?

coronary circulation is self regulating so ANS has nothing to do with it, i guess it is adenosine because this forms the basis for the adenosine stress test in patient who cant exercise on the treadmill

adenosine is to cause vasodilation, not vasoconstriction. However, i also agree that NE does not play a role in local regulation of coronary.......it is the degree of O2 ? because coronary is regulated by NO, adenosin, Oxygen ? what do you think my expla. ?
