i am IMG,2003graduate,with 4 attempts of step 1(80), step 2/1 attempt (78), CSA/1attempt. anyone could help me finding where to do my residency...i almost search all the hospitals but im out of their qualification...please help me...im very desperate and hopeless..

It would be difficult for you to get residency without USCE and US lors. Somebody has to put a strong word for you for the PD to consider you for interview.

im working as a medical assisstant for 5 months now in a small clinic..The MD let me do H/P and not too complicated PE, I discussed whatever i think about the patient and she's(MD) teaching me too how to approach and manage it...i dont know if this included as USCE...I have had 1 month obsrevership and volunteering experince in one of the free clinic here in our place...

we have the same credentials....i have attempts in step 1 too. passed ck n cs on 1st attempt. i don't know where to apply as well.... can anyone help us! really desperate to get in any IM or FM program.

u know wat coach , there r program which don`t consider number of attempts, so openm frieda n start calling program , i hope u will get at least 50 prog n yes what ever u r doing comes in USCE coach!
same to u abdul , call prog , number of attempts doesn`t mean u can`t apply, n believe me there r prog which consider ppl with attempts

Never be hopeless. You have alot of potential. I know it is difficult but not impossible. I do not have good credentials either. The best thing you can do for now is to apply in family and psychiatry and take whatever speciality comes your way. Go to frieda..Talk to programs... There are programs which do not bother about attempts. Look for small city/ town communiy programs. You will find many that will accept you. Secondly try to look for a physician who have some influence in any program who is willing to put a word for you personally.

Last but not the least pray to God. He will show you the way. Good luck
