Hey psych 2008,

Did not get any calls/rejection except a email from Univ of Louisville KY, saying that they have sent my application to the review commitee.
What about you? Did you hear from VCU/TX Tech?
Keep posting.

I got a vague email from VCU..I dont have US externship ..but she asked me to send proof of any of this..
Due to a policy adopted by our hospital's Office of Graduate Medical
Education, we are required to document that all applicants considered
for
residency interviews

1. Must be within four years of graduation from medical school or
direct
patient care activity.

2. Have had at least 3 months of direct patient care experience .
Generally,
this is met through either medical school rotations in U.S./Canadian
hospitals
or through "externships." If you have had such experiences, did it meet
the
criteria for direct patient care experience, i.e., something comparable
in
contact and responsibility to the role of a fourth-year medical
student?
For U.S. and Canadian Medical students, their clinical rotations during
medical school will meet this requirement. For Imp's, externships of
direct
patient care will meet this requirement, observer ships or clinical
research
do not qualify.
The direct patient care activity mentioned above in the U.S. or Canada
must be
documented by a minimum of three (3) letters of recommendation from
U.S. or
Canadian physicians who observed your clinical work and can comment on
your
academic, professional, and personal performance.
