Exam center and exam day -

hi everyone !!!!!!!!!!
can we visit the exam centre and see around what kind of set up they have ??? Like do they have ur appointemnt nicely for that day??? and ur id card and yellow card will both work for ur identity that day...etccc.... in order to reduce the stress that big day???

# do they have all the computers working perfectly??/ i mean if by chance u get a comp whose mouse is having a even a little problem will be very stressfull that day. has some one ever had prob because of comp breakdown/.comp hanging /virus etc ???/

#and after one block is over how do u take a break...will comp ask u if u want to take break or want to start next block or some assistant from prometric will ask u if u wish to have break???

#or the exam is just like school exam where teacher will be roaming around and u can get hold of him if u have some prob or query?//

Conceenterate on exam..all these are there problems ....if you can solve urs should be ebnough ...
will happen everything that day even u wont come to know when the day passed...

Hey Indie.. Like everyone has been telling you.. Relax!!

You can defintely visit the prometric center before your test date to get familiar with the place.They probably wont allow you to enter the room where the exam is being administered but you can always check out the waiting area. Its a good idea to go to the center before the test date a) to reduce anxiety b) to make sure you know the way and dont get lost on the day of the exam!

# Usually all the computers are in perfect working condition. If there is a problem, you can always notify the staff and they will help you.

# After a block is over the computer asks you whether you want to continue or take a break. If you choose to take a break, you are responsible for monitoring your own break time ie nobody's going to tell you when to come back from break.

# This exam is certifying you become a licensed physician in the USA. Hence, it is nowhere near a school exam! There is no "teacher roaming around". You write the exam in a room which is under video surveillance and you are completely on your own.. If you have a doubt about teh questions, too bad buddy! Cant ask no one
