Usually it will also depend on the program. From programs like University of oklahoma you will also get a thankyou letter in mail.. some programs will specifically tell you not to send letter. But in previous years i have seen that most of the deserving candidates including AMGs used to send a letter, thankyou card after the interview and i had few friends who did it last year and many of them had a good match or prematch..... In my opinion and in last years experience among my frens i think a paper letter will be good.

Hey after scheduling the interview we recieve a confirmation of the interview date via email..should we write a thank you email in response to this confirmation too?
