Invite from Michael Reese but no IV date - doc_jiya

Dear Internal Medicine Residency Applicant


I would like to update you on the status of your application to the Michael
Reese Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program.

At this time we have over 2500 applications, of these a little more than 1200
meet our criteria, therefore we are giving priority to those candidates who
are already ECFMG certified.

Your application has been reviewed and selected for interview invitation, but
at this time we do not have any available interview dates. When additional
dates are opened up you will receive an email notifying you of available
dates, which will most likely be in January. These interviews will be granted
on a first reply - first scheduled interview basis.

Also, please be aware that this does not guarantee an interview.

Did anyone get such an email. and should i wait for an IV.

I got an invite in the initial round ..i mean when they first send out the invites.
I sent an email with possible iv dates I wanted.And surprsingly she wrote back saying the slots are over.I called and send emails again and again same msg.
I wonder why Invite if they dont have enough slots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so my dear dont have much hopes on this..and if u have other iv's concentrate on those
I bet many had similar exp like me.

It happened with me as well..and this was when i replied them just after 2 days..nd those 2 days were sat-sun!!!
how is this possible that they filled all slots over t weekend?

same here. I also have the same problem. In first round of interview, as I send the date, they told me slots are over and wait for dates in january

I got the same message like ages ago! nothing new. Don't hold your breath.
