In kapalan notes:

Sickle cell crisis is most often NOT assiciated with an increase in hemolysis or drop in hematocrit. page 182 version 2004

It seems not right. What do you think?

CRISES does not mean very severe fall in hematocrit.....but it refers to the pain crises...that is when there is maximum sickling in acidotic conditions.......
