what will happend to plasma conc. - iren

Patient took too much potassium..what will happend to the potassium plasma level? potassium urine ? aldosterone?

It's a question from member 4444 from exam...

i think plasma level would increas,urine potassium increase and aldosterone dec..correct me if im wrong..

aldosterone also increases to push K out.

i think plasma potassium would increase which in turn would increase the aldosterone levels. aldosterone acts to increase sodium reabsorption and potassium excretion in the dct and so urinary potassium would increase. so in essence all 3 would increase. thats wut i think.

i think everything would increase...plasma K, urine K and aldosteron (to remove K )...
