well here u go..
cardiac tamponade--------u have pulsus paradoxus

constrictive percariditis-----kussumauls sign and pericardial knock..


ex so a q with recent onset of dyspnea, fatigue, illness, hypotensive with muffled pulses inc, pluse over 120, with jugular vein distended======cardiac tamponade....

and constrictive pericardistis takes months to yrs to produce.....

ok...just make the Question more clear (cardiac tamponade is emergency, pericarditis takes time to develop), My question is both kussumauls sign and pulsus paradoxus can appear in both situations, is this true or not?

According to UW i think tamponade has pp and carditis has kusumal sign... according to them...
