dutring the encounter do we have to sit or stand during history taking and counsling?
Can we listen to anterior aspect of the chest while the SP is sitting

sit or stand ur choice...if an office case u can sit but if ER prefer standing...thats my opinion...

if the patient is lyin on side u have to sit for eye contact.in all other cases its preferable to stand.

What I feel is its better to SIT rather then Standing because .....body language tell that when you are Standing it looks like you are in a Hurry to Finish up where as Sitting looks more like you are paying attention and listening.
I have the habit of standing for history taking BUt i am trying to practise sitting.....
