themadmike --whats the yr of graduation i am old grad 1999 got 81 in step 1 --
can you guide me is there possilbity i can apply for residency 2009 by doing step 2 CS ?
what is externship and intership--difference ..does it makes the difference in getting resedency or reserch is good???what fied should we choose for ext ship?

You never met or heard of someone getting rsidency with low scores?

If you think getting into residency is about scores then you really don;t know how the game is played....

I know a ton of people with low scores that get spots, through contacts...etc.. and even LUCK..

Just read your story. There's a lot of people saying that you are lying. But why would you be lying? There's no point of posting this kind of information if it's false? I don't know what other people are thinking.

Congratulation on your achievement, and I have to tip of hat to you for applying so many time, so many programs, and so busy with the match and scramble.
