the best for this exams are;
Kaplan notes for step 2 not step3
qbank UW for MCQ
EZ pass step 3 CCS for CCS
Crush step3
be familial with USMLE software

I said the best materials for study, I don't have any idea to study in short time, you need to underestand the materials, MCQs and practise the CCS. take time if you can and pass it, if no time to study enough better don't take it now, it is a real exam, sometime killing people.

EZ pass step 3 CCS is a work book, I think much better than UW or FA for CCS, you can find it on amazon or Barnes & Noble.

I mean , it is not easy as some people think, some not pass it in first attempt and all of us are busy, not enough time to prepare for this exam like step 1 or 2.

i know it is not easy...esp when i read the posts from test-takers....
i do not know what would make the studying adequate...to pass with a good score...

Dear cricoid, don't give up, just have a plan, choose afew qbanks and books as I mentioned above, study them well and more than 1 time, everybody has to pass it, you can too.
do you know why some get better score some not? because if you be a PGY4 of Ophtalomlogy, Radiology or... how much do you remmember the IM, SURG, PED, ...? so a PGY4 IM, PED can win this exam faster, easer with better score.
