to look at wall motion abnormalities....
valve abnormalities after MI....

ok guys if a patient comes with signs and symptoms of MI but his ECG can't be interpreted
(e.g old MI,digoxin use,LBBB,pacemaker)
then use of echocardiogram to detect lt ventricular hypokinesia is about 90% of MI!!!!!!!provided there is no previous MI
