If a mass is seen in the UOQ of a right breat while doing a Physical Examination on a previously healthy 45 year old Woma.
What is the Next Step in Management?
Fina needle aspiration Cytology or First we need to do a Mammogram before?
Can anybody help me choose the next step in management?

How old is the patient? Is the mass solid or cystic? how long is the mass there for?
I think when you post your queries you need to be more elaborative or else post whole question as itself. Does not hurt.

I will go with mammogram first. Based on mammogram we can decide the next step; cystic, can go for FNA to r/o FCC; solid with suspicious for malignancy or worrisome calcification pattern, will do excisional biopsy. If patient under 35, breast tissue is dense; mammogram not very helpful; can choose FNA or ultrasound depending on the appearance of mass

answer-mamogram, any women more than 35 with breast lump should be evaluated with mamogram first. dmcmd explanation is perfect.
