Explanation Tetralogy of Fallot is the most common cyanotic CHD of children. Cyanosis usually develops by 3-4 months time depending on the degree of right ventricular outflow obstruction. It is associated with many anomalies, such as anomalies of coronary arteries in 5%, tracheo-esophageal fistula, rib anomalies and scoliosis. Right aortic arch anomalies are present in 25% with aberrant vessels and vascular slings or rings.
