perhaps the medical school you graduated from had something to do with it..... or the fact that your attention to detail is exemplified by the word "eigth" . don't dwell...keep trying. the scramble is not over yet.

I can guess that reason might be not adequate number of applications or not adequate diversity of program applied or not adequate iv skill or not adequate improvement between first iv and last iv or late application or late ecfmg certification or sheer bad luck. I have no doubt that you will match sooner or later. G/l
