Guys, may hiningi ba ang inyong lawyer sa inyo na parang letter from your state licensing bureau na nag-apply na kayo ng medical residency permit pero hindi pa naproprocess kasi wala pang SS#? Hinihingan kasi ako. Kailangan daw sa application kaso hirap asikasuhin kasi wala naman ako dyan sa US ngayon? Anyone? Thanks.

nung nag apply ako / kami for PA state training license, may pinapirma sa amin na SS waiver, which basically states na wala pa kaming SS no. and that we will inform the board once we secure one. With that waiver, na issue naman ang license ko / namin.

hindi ko alam kung ano yung hinihingi sa yo ng lawyer mo. He should be aware that you dont have one (SS no.), kasi nagpapaayos ka nga ng visa di ba? Its the GME coordinator who is suppose to be asking you that (the SS waiver for ur traiining license). Your lawyer on the other hand, needs your training license, signed contract from your GME to file your H1b.

I called IN medical licensing to ask for that letter. Ang tawag pala dun ay "status letter" informing me na pending ang application ko dahil wala akong SS #. The lady who answered my call was kind enough to send me the email version and the "status letter" to my US address. I forwarded the email to my lawyer and sabi nya pwede na daw iyon. So basically solve na ako. He will file my visa application today and by May 9 to 14, dapat may response na ang USCIS, and then interview time na.

Yup, aware yung lawyer ko na wala akong SS#. And automatic daw na nagpapadala ng status letter ang licensing bureau pag may kulang ang isang applicant. Yung lawyer ko ay lawyer din ng hospital and program mismo kaya sya na rin ang nagfollow-up ng application ko for medical residency permit.

Anyway, solve na ako! Salamat sa pagsagot.

Glad it worked for you. wala pang 15 mins from now, just got my h1b approval ine-mail sa kin nung lawyer. haaaay another 1 down. interview na lang at poea. Mine was filed april 16. Got the approval april 29.
