Good point PCP. If I could afford to apply to all programs i would. hehe.

Does anyone know which programs are not very IMG friendly or are extremely competitive? I know Emory, Rush, NYP, Arizona programs, Mass Gen, Harvard, Yale are hard to get into (even for those with 99s). Any other programs out there to avoid?
Trying to shorten my list here. =)

hello folks, hw many programs are u applying to, av been able to chose only 48 programs for psych dt match my credentials,and 10 FM programs,total 58,PCP do u think 48 psy program is good enough.Guys,guys talk to me, help ur fellow aspirant

heard some people applied to very few progrmas,got one or 2 interviews...and they were set ....numbers doesnt really matter in my opinion....anyone can comment?

My fellow Psychiatry aspirants.....fight as if its a matter of life or death..fight as if it`s the last battle you`ll ever fight..don`t save your ammunition for the future.....don`t fight a half hearted battle.....applying to 50 Psych programs is enough if they are chosen wisely.....1 interview is enough if performed to the level of perfection....we don`t know our destiny but there is no harm giving our best...May THE FORCE be with you.

Since posting a few days back i've managed to remove 20+ from my selected 76 Psychiatry programs.
