Finished my exam today. There are so many posts about exam experiences so i would go very briefly.
1- exam is Doable.
2-Ques are very lenthy
3-lots of derma, xrays, ekgs- prepare well becoz ques dont tell much and u have to make your selection by looking at the pictures.
4-lots of ques from UW on my exam with slightly change description
5-lots of ques could be answered from Crush step 3
6- step 2 ck notes provide background information to solve ques but actually u need to look other sources(uw/crush)for more detail management
7-kaplan qbank- i did it too, but its waste of time in my opinion. revise UW instead
8-CCS cases were easy and straight forward except one or two. The cases I remember were
acute pericarditis
iron deficiency anemia
colon cancer
hemolytic uremic syndrome
polymyalgia rheumatica
DKA
