#1
35 yr old pt with bronchitis came to u for the persistence of problem in breathing. he is taking some medication for the condition which prescribed at local charity hospital but it seems not to be working. after detail check up and lab work u decide to switch the medication with IV beta lactam (imipenem). which is promissing in the above mentioned condition. if pt wont show good out come with that medication which would be the reason.

A drug sould be combined with other antibiotic to resist the resistance
B resistance is due to pts noncompliance with the medication.
C reistant develop due to beta lactamase
D Dihydropeptidase is wholely resposible for non responsiveness
E pt is taking some other medication which interact with betalactam Antibiotic

Imipenem = beta lactam resistant. I think you forgot to add that "resistant" part after the beta lactam.
