both have red spot on macula, right? can someone please confirm...

yes both do have,but most common in tay-sachs Smile

yes both have the cherry red spot on macula, so don't go by that they put that in the stem for both diseases (seen it in NBME) look for the hepatospleenomegaly which is not seen in Tay Sach's
