Any old img moms out there who have taken career break to have kids....getting calls?

I have 7 calls till now with 5 rejections.
Cred.............Step 1/2 83/92,EAD, no USCE and 1995 grad.
Career break from 2000 cos of family and settling in US.
Don't lose hope.
If there is a will there is a way.

I asked several faculties about the break to take care kids. They told it is acceptable and vey noraml for mom to take some time off to take care of kids in USA. So I put several sentences in my personal statement.

Thanks for replying...I graduated in 98, plan to do step 1 in apr/may and step 2 in july/aug. I have been out since 2000 and had 2 kids since then....I feel so lost....

Please can you tell me how late I can take step 2ck and cs if I want to get into the 2006 match.
