Can I ?
If I go to transitional year or preliminary year as PGY1, can I apply NEXT year AGAIN for PGY1 in IM or Ped programs? Is it against the MATCH law or not ?

It is fine. My husband had an average score in the mid 80's, got a prelim surgery spot the first time through the Match, and applied for a bunch of categorical programs the following year. He got two prematch offers the second time around and ended up at a much better place than where he did the prelim year. The disadvantage was that we had to move twice but in the end it was worth it. |
