A 55-year-old heavy smoker undergoes surgery for bowel obstruction. In surgery he is found to have a cancer, which was causing obstruction of the right colon. The surgery is uneventful and the patient is extubated in the recovery room. He does fine on postoperative day 1 but on postoperative day 2 he develops a low-grade fever with tachypnea and tachycardia. His oxygen saturation on 4 liters nasal cannula is 90. heavy smoker , he will not able to run over chest tube. i think.

the whole left side is white...so that means fluid or blood...

atelectasis also...so may be B....

if its atelectasis dont we do a bronchoscopy to remove the plugs

I think C
As sd said we need to remove the plug that caused lung to collapse.
