hi i have a question for you; do you know if i have a letter of recommendation before july 1st, do you think i should put the cover sheet inside the envelope and write the AAMC # in it or should i close the envelope with the cover sheet outside it

and do you recommend me sending another letter from may, 2007 or should i wait until the new updated one is given to me in late august??

You should definitely include the cover letter inside the envenlope
You should send your may letter now in case you want to apply on september 1st, then send the august letter later. You can replace the letter even after you have submitted the application but before the programs have downloaded them.
