Hi everybody,
Does anyone know if applying for two tracks (e.g. preliminary and categorical) in the same program counts as two applications or one. I mean for ERAS fee calculation.

still no response? what are the possibilities?
- no one knows it!
- no one cares about the money!
- no one is going to apply to more than one track!
Anyway, let's just wait for the one!

OK finally found it, it doesn't cost you more if you apply for more than one track in a program (e.g. prelim and categorical). They just count programs not tracks.

P.S. it seems we are the ones we've been waiting for!

but du you apply for prelin and categorical at the same program? isn't it weird? you have to explain what do you want to do after prelim ... if you say anesthesiology they'll ask why do you want categorical IM then?

Not only that, but as earlier I asked the question about Neurology.
what personal statement would you attach to combined Prelim/IM application? the one written for Specialty or the one writen for IM?
Answer: This is what expensive solution I have received from somebody, but cudnt find any better one either.
You apply prelim and then couple of weeks later apply IM!
However the conflinct of being reviewed in same department by same program director remains still strong!
