dilemma - surgerymylife

Hi,
I am waiting for my ECFMG certificate. I got my result on the 13th and I thought I would get it by now. I really wanted to apply on the 2nd being certified. Now I won't be able to.
So should I apply on 2nd and then update my profile when I get the certificate or should I wait to till I get it to apply? I am worried.
Pls I need your input!
Do the programs download the application straight away. I have called a lot of programs and most require me to be certified at the time of application. I am applying to surgery and preliminary.

Apply on the 2nd and then update your profile when you get the certificate. You should get it pretty soon so it wont make any difference in your case. Most programs do not even begin reviewing applications till the end of September or later.
