Is it true "Dont apply for FM programs where you have applied for IM"; it seems they will come to know that you have applied in diiferent program in the same institute -- NOT good

How could they know?
Unless they only have 80 FM applicants and 90 IM applicants. Then they will compare one to another and sayin, " Hey buddy, DR. Antidote is applying to my program, could you check yours if he also apply to yours... He is great... i hope he only apply to mine..."

I don't think so...
It supposed to be fine. Unless you get IV from both programs, then they'll find out.

Watch it! My FM PD actually told me about one applicant who applied to the IM program here and his app wasn't even opened by her. I think she even showed me some kind of listing in ERAS.
