¢ What is it about psychiatry that interests you?

i like psychiatry because it bridges biological sciences and social sciences, and as a medical specialty it stresses patient-physician relationship on the standpoint of mental health and humanity. it's a specialty evolving more quickly than any other medical specialties- and I like that dynamics.

Pharmacology and psychiatric genetics, which will bring us new medicine and new treatment modalities.

Psychotherapy. although psychiatry evolves more towards biological end, psychotherapy is still an essential part of our practice.
