indodoc, I have GC. Only applied in my state, since my family can not relocate to other place. It is tougher for me, since my chance is more limited, but I will just wait and see, hopefully this year will have more luck. What about you, did u apply all over USA?

Creds : old grad (1998), 96/99/pass/91 all 1st attempt. 2 years research (no publication though), 4 years observership on and off in US, US LORs. That is all. It is just getting tougher each year. Only got 1 iv last year, because I guessed I applied late. This year I applied on Sept 2. Got few ivs in September, but then ZERO...rejections everyday.
What about yourself???

indodoc, research will help definitely. Keep doing what you r doing now, try to publish something if u can. I will do research myself if I don't match this year, surely will try again next year.By the way...what r your creds??...hope u don't mind.

indodoc, your creds r great, r u recent grad? Keep knocking doors indodoc, that is what I do....even one of my observeship is through my daughter's pediatrician. Try to find contact person, keep trying...hard work pays off. what specialties did u apply to?

indodoc, how many ivs have u got so far?
Thanks for your kind word....I am grateful for the ivs I got....but I think you agree that somehow 4 ivs is not that many. Eventhough some people say that we only need 1 iv to match...but on average...more ivs u have more chance of matching you will get. What do u think?
