well the visual field defects are due to compression of the optic nerve at the apex of the orbit. Now i am not sure if this will produce the same effect of a tumor in the pituitary since it is a little closer to the eye and I am not sure if the temopral field has split yet and crossed. But i am guessing that would be more likely but not sure. Additionally there is papiledema so you might get spot hemorrages related to hypertension within the eye...
