I just recieved a prematch and was informed by my PC that I was to withdraw from the NRMP match. When I tried to withdraw from the match, the NRMP website requires me to put down a reason. Its either Applicants Request of Non NRMP Position.
In my case, which is the correct choice? Also, after doing this, do I still have to mail programs about my decision to withdraw?

you have to pick up ...(none NRMP Position) which mean you got position out side the match,,
same thing happen to me last week and I called NRMP and Verified .
for 2nd question ,,,,GO To your ERAS page then programs applied to and click on WITHDRAW ,,,,and you do the same thing in each program you applied to in this match.
I hope this will help you and GL

You have to also click withdraw for every program on your ERAS applied list or just the programs that interviewed you?
