Is it difficult to get Residency matching for old - usmann76

Hello All,
If you all can answer this question.

Is getting residency a problem for old graudates such as someone who graduated in 2000 or 2001.
And again some say even if you have good scores it is still difficult.

Also I am green card will that help in being in a better position to get residecny?

good score compensates a lot. try to do observership and show PD that you and your knowledge is "still young"

You are not old, comparing to me. I graduated 20 years ago and matched to pathology last year. High score and connection helped me. So try to get high score and get good recommendation letters from US DOCTORS.
