45 yr old hypertensive male wid sudden palpitation n chest tightnes.cardiac monitor showing A.fib at a rate of 120-140/min. as the nurse is attempting to establish iv acces,the patient bcomes unresponsive.there is no palpable pulse over carotid n femoral. cardiac monitor still shws A.FIB at the same rate. next best step is.
