what is the difference between myopathic form of CAT deficiency and myophosphorylase deficiency?in questions their presentation and clinical features looks similar to me.

okt3 can u pls answer?both cause hypoglycaemia and red urine,there was a Q on UWSA i cant differentiate between these two.

Good question, I dont know the answer but here is what I think:
In myopathic CAT deficiency, muscle pain and progressive muscle weakness begin in childhood or adolescence while muscle pain is associated with excercice in McArdle.

What uw said to make the(clinic) difference?

they dont explain the differance properly.when i read kaplan clinical features are exactly same.
