Program preference and match - bigdoc

I attended 2 interviews in programs A and B.I feel i have a better chance of being ranked high by program A within their quota ie they have 4 positions and i am likely to be ranked 1-4.But i prefer program B. My question is if i ranked program B first and program A second and i did not match in B, will i then match in A since they are very likely to rank me within their available positions?.

read that, it will clear it up for you since I was wondering the same thing. Bottom line is you should rank by where you want to be and not where you think will rank you highly. good luck!
