A biosynthetic error in reading the genetic code results in an enzyme that folds in an abnormal manner .What is most likely to happen to this enzyme

a denaturation and refolding
b faster degradation
c inactivetion by phosphorylation
d transportation out of cell via golgi complex

Some on this forum say the answer is B - citing reasons due to ubiqutin. But that doesn't make sense. That would mean ubiqutin is likely to be degraded faster.

If there's a protein that is folding abnormally wouldn't it be inactivated? I choose C.

Anyone have any idea? If you think it's b, please explain.
