help needed- shud i take step1 now? - speedster

hi everyone!

im doin mbbs from india. now in 3rd year. just done with pathology, micro, pharmac,....... seriously thinking of giving usmle step 1 this year. is it too early to give it now? shud i wait to give it during my internship?
......and is there any advantage of giving step 1 now?

If u think u r ready go for it,here in US medical student take it after 2nd year of basic sciences.
