my wife is on J1 visa, can i sponsor a GC: hi friends how ru doing, my wife is doing residency on J1 now. I am also doing residency and will be a citizen shortly. can i sponsor my wife a GC as i become a citizen. let me know, thanks, have fun,

As far as I know she has to waiver J1 then only you can apply for her, eventhough you get citizenship early. So I believe some more yers to go. One of my friend is also in same situation thats why i know this.

she has to do the waiver job regardless of your status, to change to any other visa....if shes on j1 clinical visa.
