right time to send application to eras???? - yzzieylie

hi guys!

when is it best to send your application to eras???I mean if I have an externship scheduled for auhgust,is it worth it?I mean when is the last safest month to be doing an externship in order to have a LOR so that U can be ready to send your application on time?

august is kinda late, but if that's all you have, it's better than nothing. However, bear in mind that you need to send LORs 4-6 wks before the application season, because it takes ERAS a loooong time to scan them (especially during that pre-season period when they're really busy). I would recommend, if you can, to have everything ready and apply on Sept. 1st because your chances to get more interviews are higher.

Apply ASAP,
LOR should also be ASAP,
but, if you get them later,
you can add to your application later on..
Bottom line is... getting LOR late, can not be the reason to apply late..
