I am an FMG who did the unthinkable. I failed Step 2 on the second attempt. I then passed with only a 76 on the third attempt. After this I made a 86 on Step 1 on the 1st attempt. I applied to 50 cate IM programs this year and received one interview (I know they did not rank me high, they tolled me no go for me because of my multiple attempt in step 2)
I am just wondering if there is anything anyone could suggest for me to do in order to gain access to a residency. I have 3 outstanding LORs, but my application is most likely being screened out do to the failure/low board scores. I am willing to go anywhere, but I can't seem to find any program that will even look at me. Any serious suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
I have Green Card and I have academic professor to do a call for me in scramble, but how this will help if every body say™s all the line will be busy and hard to catch any PD to talk to him.
