if a woman has kids before. like she has 2 kids and now she is missing her period for 4 month and now u give here the progestin test and she bleeds does that mean she has an ovulation problem or hypopiutiatrism>>> thats an NBME1 question

THIS IS THE TEST FOR SECONDARY AMENO.
AFTER GIVING PROGESTIN IF WOMAN HAS BLEEDING MEANS POSITIVE PCT.
PCT MEANS PATIENT HAD PROGESTIN DEFICIENCY SO ALL PATIENT HAS IS ESTROGEN WHICH CAUSES HER TO EXP IRREGULAR BLEEDING.
SO POSITIVE PCT------ovulation problem.
