Honestly,
If you aren't shy, I would go with one of those new fangled Electronic Littmans or the like. Its my bet, that it would garner up enough attention (as most kewl gizmo's do) amongst sub-Specialty Attendings you encounter, to act as a conversation starter! Hope that helps.

I am happy with Littman. I have a pediatric stet, an adult stet and an electronic stet. Electronic is a bit expensive, I bought it when I was a PGY4 in my home country because I started cardio, it was sort of a treat I gave to myself.
The only problem with Littman´s is that they sometimes get deformed and break, but you can always buy the parts that break.

unless you plan on being a cardiologist, dont waste your hard earner money on a stethoscope you dont need.......buy a littmann master classic II for $80 and you will be very happy you did......remember its not the tool that makes the doctor
