The bill Extends the program and no the time to work- the term remains 3 years.

hi,
what does this mean?I am joining residency this year on J1- IM Program. Do I have to do 5 years/ 3 years WAIVER? Please do tell me. I dont wnat to stuck myself for 5 years under some employee who bosses over me . thanks

With the j1 waiver you will not have to go out of the US for 2 years after the 7 years, but if you do go out you won't have to do the j1 waiver job. Your choice .......
